I adore how Tais is such a black woman with all her hair. :D
I'm glad you're digging my Spock/Uhura/Lyrette icon. It's from a scene that was never aired from season 3. According to the website I read, it flubbed the continuity hardcore too. In it, Uhura expressed a wish to learn how to play the lyrette (whereas she'd been playing it when she sings Beyond Antares to Riley.

You mean the second Spock/Uhura in your comment? Hmmm ... they've got almost the same hairstyle, eyebrow arch and cheekbones? :D
I think I read somewhere that Nichelle's screentest was actually a reading for Spock's character, and she did it so well they jokingly wondered how she'd look with pointy ears.
